Welcome
Welcome to room 111.  As the Reading Specialist at Corporate Landing Elementary, I provide instruction in the areas of reading and writing for students in small groups and classroom settings.  In addition, I work closely with the Language Arts teachers in the areas of instructional planning, data analysis and the use of effective instructional practices.  I also coordinate the Accelerated Reader Program and other schoolwide literacy programs.  You may contact me at 6472360 or aofarr@vbschools.com if you have any concerns or questions about the Reading Program at CLES.
 
Coming Up
Welcome back!  We are busily planning for a great year.  Our Family Story Hours are held on Friday evenings from 7:00-8:00 in the library.  Our first Story Hour will be on September 19.  Others are scheduled for November 14, February 6 and May 1.  More detailed information will follow. 
 
We are also setting up the Accelerated Reader Program for the new year and that program will begin in a few weeks.
