As we quickly approach SOL testing time, it is extrememly important that we keep our kids "on track".  Together we can make this happen.  Please continue to check your child's  planner and completed homework each evening.  Also, AR time is a great opportunity to share some quality time together.  Also, research shows that the more children read the more they enjoy reading.  That in turn leads to greater academic success!!!  YEA!!!!

Ask your child if they have earned enough points to attend the AR party at the end of the year.  Half the class has already earned their 60 points-FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!

We are now reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney- FUNNY,FUNNY book!!!!

Please send in the Jamestown fieldtrip permission slip along w/ the money ASAP.  The field trip will be on June 5th.  Your child will need to be here at CLES very early in the morning, so make arrangements now.
