Welcome
Come join the Safari in room 218!  I teach Math, Science, and Social Studies and team with Elizabeth Rodriguez.  I am excited about working with you and your child!  Below are some important items and dates.

1) Every day check your child's homework planner for assignments, and initial daily once you have checked the completed assignment.  Don't forget to check the parent pocket in the back of the binder for important papers and announcements.

2) Create an SOL holder of some kind. Your holder can be a shoebox, binder, folder, or anything you want as long as it will hold papers in an organized manner.  Keep SOL information there along with study guides and important papers to review on a regular basis.

3) Friday papers will be sent home in the dolphin folder.  Please make sure you go over the papers with your child, sign the behavior report, and send it back on MONDAY.  These papers will show you what we do in class as well as the kind of grades your child is receiving.  This is a great way to review at home, so you may now keep all the papers as a way to review!

*Please refer to the Parent Letter sent home at the beginning of each unit to reinforce the concepts taught at school.  This is where you will also find help with the Home Links.  You may also use the S.R.B. (student reference book) your child should bring home everyday.*
